Caitlin Goes to Hollywood!

Last Saturday, Caitlin was off to Hollywood to support Papaw Jerry on his quest to become the oldest 'Loser' on NBC's "The Biggest Loser".

We all had a great time in Hollywood and Caitlin had some 'air' time as well. While filming the live 'Finale' of the the Biggest Loser, The Host, Camera Crew and Photographer's were all fond of Caitlin. She was the recipient of several comments and on the air three times. We're in the process of securing an agent for our lil' star.

My First Holiday Party

Weighing in at 16 lbs., 10 ounces, Caitlin Colleen McKenna.

4 month check-up shows she's officially 'off of the charts' for height and weight. Doctors were pleased with her growth. Calls have been made to Guinness, 4 cases of your finest stout, oh, and an entry sheet for your book of world records.

Caitlin enjoyed this weekend at her first campfire. It was Aunt Megan's birthday and she dressed up as a pumpkin. At the rate she has been growing, I think mom was afraid that she would outgrow it by halloween.

Papaw Jerry

I sure am proud of my "pa-paw" Jerry. He's adopted a new lifestyle and will be fit to chase me around the backyard for years to come. Here's a picture of us in our 'Biggest Loser' gear.

Tubby Tubskins

Well there's no reason to wonder what's happening as a result of Caitlin's insatiable appetite. She weighed in at 11 lbs. 5 oz. at her one month check-up. She is really growing so fast, it is awesome to witness. She's now in the 90-95%ile for her measurements. Here is a picture of our little chunkey munkey as of late.....

Week Three

Baby Cakes has been a blast. Mom says she still has her days and nights mixed up. I say she keeps getting cuter and cuter each day. You can be the judge of that. Here she is being silly and getting squeaky-clean. She loves being in the water, must be that Lisenby blood.

Caitlin has been acclimating to her new digs. It has taken mom and dad a little longer to adjust to her schedule. The little party animal is up unitl 3 a.m. and sleeps until 8 a.m. Sounds like dad's schedule while in graduate school, except I slept until 11.

'Baby Cake' as Cousin Kenzee calls her is growing, already over her birth weight, she was 8 lbs., 15 oz. at her one week check up this past Monday.

Baby McKenna is Here!

We are so proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Caitlin Colleen McKenna. She entered the world on Monday, August 6 at 4:30 p.m. at Methodist Hospital in Peoria. She is very healthy, weighed in at 8 pounds, 12 ounces and was 20 inches long. Molly is doing very well, especially considering she was in labor for just over 24 hours.

Thanks to everyone who has helped us over the past few days, especially to Molly's sister, Michelle who was just getting off from a 12-hour shift at the hospital, stayed overnight with us, delivered the baby, and is back at work today and is our nurse. We feel very fortunate to have so much love and support from our family and friends. It feels great knowing Caitlin will be surrounded by so many amazing people. We are excited to have another clan of kids growing up at the same time.

Mom and Baby are scheduled to arrive home on Wednesday afternoon.
